Walmart Store Pickups

The International House is offering assistance with making purchases at Walmart. Due to COVID-19 precautions, we will not be offering shuttles to Walmart. Instead, we have outlined the process to make a Walmart pickup order — The I-House Staff will pick up your order on your behalf at Walmart and have your order available at the I-House or delivered to your home address if you live within 5 miles of campus. Please review the instructions below and watch the video for a walk-through on how the process will work. This service will be offered from January 11th to January 19th, 2021. More dates may be available in the future.

Order Instructions

  • Make your order at at least 48 hours in advance
  • Select your location:
    • Walmart Supercenter, 7420 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920
  • Use the search bar to search for your items. Make sure you remain on this site and still have the Chapman Highway location selected to pick up your items in the same order
  • There is a $35 order minimum. Add enough items to your shopping cart to reach this minimum, or share your order with a friend to reach the minimum. If you can’t reach that minimum, please contact the I-House Orientation Help Team (contact information above this section)
  • Select your pick up time — Choose from the following pick up times, and be sure you are ordering 48 hours before this time slot
    • January 11th – 11 AM – 12 PM – Morgan Perigard
    • January 12th – 11 AM – 12 PM – Morgan Perigard
    • January 13th – 11 AM – 12 PM – Hollyann Larson
    • January 14th – 11 AM –  12PM – Morgan Perigard
    • January 15th – 11 AM – 12 PM – Hollyann Larson
    • January 16th – 11 AM –  12 PM – Hollyann Larson
    • January 17th – 11 AM –  12 PM – Evan Oliver
    • January 18th – 11 AM – 12 PM –  Morgan Perigard
    • January 19th – 11 AM – 12 PM – Hollyann Larson
    • PLEASE NOTE: If the 11 AM – 12 PM is unavailable on your desired pick up day, or if it lists another Walmart location, please place your order for pick up on a different day, or contact the I-House Orientation Help Team for additional assistance
  • Enter your payment method
  • Confirm your selected pickup location and time. If the location is not the 7420 Chapman Hwy address, please go back a step and confirm a different pickup day that has the pickup time slot available at that location
  • IMPORTANT: Add alternate pickup person associated with your pickup time slot above and their email is If you do not complete this step, our staff will not be able to pick up your order
  • You do not need to put your mobile phone number
  • You can review any substitutions you would allow for your item. By allowing substitutions, you give Walmart permission to choose a similar item if the one you selected is not available. This may affect the prices for the items chosen and affect what gets billed to your card. If you choose to not allow substitutions, Walmart will notify you if an item is not available and remove it from your order
  • After you place your order and make your payment, forward your confirmation email to with the following information:
    • Your name
    • Your phone number
    • Whether you’d like to pickup your order at 12 PM OR have it delivered to your home address between 4-6 PM that same day
      • Delivery is free if you live within 5 miles of the International House (1623 Melrose Ave — You can check on google maps)
      • If you think you live farther, contact our I-House Orientation Help Team so we can help you get your items to you
  • Log in to your Walmart account to make edits to the order you made before the indicated time on your email
