The I-House Ambassadors are a select group of 10-12 student volunteers that assist the International House with programs and events during the academic year. Service events include World Showcases, International Coffee House, International Dance Competition, International Festival, and Thanksgiving dinner as well as select American Cultural Exchange programs.
Ideal candidates are reliable and responsible students with a positive attitude and interest in working with people from different cultures. American and international students are welcome to apply.
Ambassadors must be able to volunteer during at least two events during the semester. Events are generally on weekday evenings, though some are weekend events.
Finally, students selected for this program must attend a mandatory orientation at the International House on Thursday, February 1 from 5:30-7pm.
