Language Practice

Always wanted to learn another language? Want to work on perfecting your second language? Or maybe you are just looking for a little taste of what languages from around the world are like? Here’s your chance! Language Practice at the I-House is made up of conversation groups that allow students to practice their language skills in a relaxed and informal setting with a native speaker of the language. No grades here!  These groups are led by our current international students and give all students, scholars, and staff the opportunity to enhance their knowledge.

*We are now offering hybrid options for Language Practice. You may attend in person at the I-House (capacity limited to the first 8 people that arrive – masks, sanitizing, & social distancing required), OR via Zoom at  Practices occurring ONLY via Zoom with NO in-person component are the Chinese, Italian, and French sessions. Please see below for a list of the new languages that will be hosted through the remainder of the Fall 2020 semester.
